Raspberry Tree-Lyte

My 'sweet' Christmas card.  Fruit slices are my all time favorite sweet treat that I usually don't eat except around Christmas time.  They were the inspiration for my card here.  I took raspberry tissue paper cut in circles, folded them in half and then 'snowed' them up on the edges and arranged them here like a fir tree.  Then I added pearl gems, a silver star die and pink brad to finish out my tree.  I placed it all on a background of embossed ornaments from Sizzix.

Nuts N Bolts

This card was a lot of fun to create.  I've had this Cosmo Cricket paper forever and it went perfect with the digital robot stamp I found.  If you look carefully, the border on the bottom resembles a robot face, unintentionally but makes a nice added feature I think.  The orange border is actually the flip side of the DP.  I used the layout at Priscilla Styles again.

SPIES:
Stamps:  Robot - Digital stamp; Sentiment - Inkadinkadoo.
Paper:  Cardstock & Cosmo Cricket DP.
Ink:  Raspberry & Marvy pens.
Extras:  Paper distresser; Emboss folder (inside sentiment tage) - Tim Holtz; circle punch; hex nuts; metal brads; metal frame.

Santa Wreath Ornament

Something different tonight for Fussy &Fancy Friday Challenge, Anything But a Card.  I have had these fabric flowers from an old apron and finally decided to recycle them into a Christmas ornament.  I used cardboard cut into a 6 inch diameter circle, covered both sides with gold vellum paper and green ribbon along the edges. I made a hole in the top of the circle and threaded green ribbon through for a ribbon hanger. Then, I adhered the Santa clipart, courteous of The Graphics Fairy, that I printed on photo paper to make it nice a bright.  Next, I sprayed some Pearl Glimmer Mist on the flowers to give them a bit of shimmer and then glued them along the outer rim of the circle to form a wreath, added the ribbon, green button and added red gems to the buttons in the middle of each flower.

SPIES:
Stamps:  Clipart Santa pic from The Graphics Fairy.
Paper:  Gold Vellum.
Ink:  Colored ink from printer for photo; Pearl Glimmer Mist.
Extras:  Fabric flowers, green ribbon, candy cane ribbon, green button, poinsettia gem, red gems.

Owl Wish You a Happy Thanksgiving!

Another cupcake entry.  Just love those inspirations!  I  found the owl stamp, a bargain bin find!   The branch of leaves I stamped in brown then stamped the owl on top.  I restamped the branch and leaves in the orange and yellow colors, cut out the leaves, trimmed them with a brown marker and then stuck them on top of the brown leaves.  I decided to do a little recycling by picking acorns out of my front yard for the embellishments with the leather string.

SPIES:
Stamps:  Owl - Studio G; Branch of leaves -Inkadinkadoo; Sentiment:  TPC.
Paper:  DP: - K&Co.;  Brown suede; brown, yellow gold, cream cardstock.
Ink:  Timber Brown; Tangerine; Buttercup.
Extras:  Brown leather string; real acorns; bracket punch.
